Colorshow With Blueberries (Red Wine Barrel)

For this variant of our base kettle sour Colorshow, we fermented with over a pound per gallon blueberries, then let it rest for 5 months in a red wine barrel that had previously held Colorshow with Cranberry and Plum. The nose evokes a wine cellar with its rustic oak and ripe berry notes. The beer is light on the palate with a brisk acidic bite and a dry, tannic finish. The remaining fruit notes from previous barrel aging of both wine and beer give this beer a complexity that evolves as you make your way through the glass. Show Less
