Advent calendar day 19. Bottled on August 24th 2017. Has held up very very well. Little signs of ageing. Coffee and chocolate. Light thin body. Not sign of 11% abv. Nice!!

Always nice to return to an old favorite, and perhaps a vintage I haven’t tried. Rich, semi-sweet chocolate with a hint of fire, although that might be a trick of the branding.

Boozed up and bodied to the max, mouthfeel is large, reminiscent of old-school BCBSs. Sip is smooth, malty and bourbony. Full bodied and pretty delicious - New Holland never gets a lot of praise but this is very acceptable. Solid! Cheers Joshua 🙏🏼
