Our latest coffee stout features the Costa Rica Tirra Natural from @methodicalcoffee. Thish beautiful coffee is naturally processed, meaning the fruit flesh and mucilage of the coffee cherry is removed through sun drying. As the flesh slowly dries off the seed, the longer contact time of the fruit generally imbues the coffee seed with higher levels of fruit sugar, resulting in big, full-bodied, fruit-forward cup characteristics. The Tirra natural is no exception, reminiscent of boozy rum cake, cherry and lemon juiciness, and elderflower florality.

The coffee’s lifted acidity brightens this stout, resulting in some nice delicacy and silkiness, like a delightful Madagascan dark chocolate. Hint o Show Less
