1st whiff is delectable Tootsie Roll & brownie crust backed by a balanced bourbon char. Taste adds toasted walnuts w a little booze plus dark chocolate drizzled campfire roasted marshmallow tempered by bittering oak. Lighter drier body exhales dark fruit.

Shane: This was a surprisingly effective contrast. Slightly less body and carb dings JO but its excellence draws out some less pleasant licorice in the BCBS. Both incredible beers taking it to the final bell, Anvil definitely grows on me over the session.
