Big dark chocolate aroma and flavour, medium coffee, light lactose sweetness with subdued vanilla. Light vegemite in aroma and flavour. Smooth finish with light lingering palate warmth. Nice and complex, cold storage has been very kind.
Purchased at Hunter Beer Co.

James Denning: Hunter Beer Co no problem 👍🏼 Stout #28 next up
Trimbo: Never had it so I’m very interested in your result.
James Denning: Russell stone the crows is like liquid chocolate, it’s easy to drink but the abv will catch up with you
Trimbo: I can imagine.
Something of a barn find. Thought this might be past its prime, but no best before on bottle, I must have (accidentally) stored it well. Rich creamy dark chocolate, frothy cappuccino, vanilla essence, malt. Sublimely smooth and mellow for 9%. What a gem.
