In 1998, as they prepared their brewery start-up, Paul and Natasha Holgate took a trip to New Zealand to tour the microbreweries and beer scene there. Six months later, after meeting a gang of great Kiwi beer folk, they had bought their first secondhand brewhouse and brewery kit, and had it shipped over. Installed in September 1999, they were running their first brews nearly 25 years ago, in October 1999, and this release is in honour of the part the NZ independent beer community had in the Holgate start-up story.
