Very nice scotch ale. There's definitely a hint of peated malt underneath the dark crystal and roasted malts. Surprisingly dry. Great beer. Bet the grain bill on this is simple but high quality.

The nose is toffeeish and nutty, and a sip reveals those traits also in the palate. The beer is buttery, flinty, with notes of caramel and raisin. Butterscotch. Alcohol warmth in the finish. Delightful!
