A potent, unique and full bodied true imperial stout. Loaded with the flavor from tonnes of dark malts and just the perfect amount of hops. Black as the night and as smooth as it is powerful. This is Idjit!

We really don’t like to talk about comebacks. We usually quote LL Cool J by saying, ”Don’t call it a comeback!”. However, now we might have to borrow some words from Eminem. ”Look who’s back! Back again. Idjit’s back! Tell a friend.”

This beer started out as an experiment. One of our brewers wanted to see how strong a beer we could brew. The result was a 16% vol. imperial stout which was super gross. Too much of everything, unbalanced, undrinkable. An idiot beer, if you will. That beer never saw the light of day. We learned a lot, though.

When it came time to brew another imperial stout, we took all we learned, factored in the then-latest American trends, and took off.

We landed on something unique, new, and modern. Now it’s a classic, and we’re happy to bring it back. Quite frankly, we don’t know what took us so long. Blast! Show Less
