In A Bar, Under the Sea

This beer is a funky easy drinker of only 3.5% ABV. To create a body that keeps you interested, we used discarded Bran (Dutch: Zemelen) from our local miller. The character comes one of Escarpment Laboratories Funky Brett strains we love with a subtle old-world dry-hop.

As for the name? This recipe was designed by our brewer Jan - who travelled from his native Belgium to the Netherlands somewhere in the late 1990s. This was right around the same time the influential Belgian band dEUS released one of its best works, quite influential in the Dutch scene.
It just so happened this album has a very apt title for a beer like this.... Whatever happens, whatever goes around... Show Less
