Ponderosa Pines On Rainier (Crop Year 2019 Cascade 11 Single Hop IPA)

Released in the early 70s, Cascade hops, named after the California to British Columbia mountain range, became a staple in new US beer styles, such as the American Pale Ale. Often overlooked by modern breweries, it’s a hop that once was, and still is, revered for its grapefruit and pine aromas.
Take it on as you would a short history lesson, and though its modern setting in this beer is far removed from the original beers it took centre stage in, enjoy it as a looking-glass back into the pioneering trailblazers that came before us. Show Less
