Our most structured Italian Grape Ale comes from the heart of Nizza Monferrato, thanks to the cooperation with Azienda Agricola Cascina Garitina (www.cascinagaritina.it).
In addition to the classic ingredients of beer such as water, barley malt, hops and yeasts, this recipe features Barbera grape must.
This is a complex beer that needs a long ripening period in the bottle, where it evolves during the months, rounding up and developing its special strawberry, cherry, and red fruits perfume, with notes of vanilla and almonds.
The colour is light ruby with hues of garnet, and in the mouth is round and complex. Slightly tannic when young, it that gets more harmonic after six months in the bottle.
Very interesting when paired with game, aged cheeses, roasted and braised meat. Show Less
