Here is a great example of why I really love UK ale. This is so crisp, but it’s also rich and malty. The result is both refreshing and complex. It’s so unfortunate that this isn’t exported to the US. I’m lucky to have a great friend who sent this to me!

One more for the road after food. Quite malty - while I’m no expert on the tech specs involved I would argue in terms of colour, texture and mouthfeel this is much closer to an amber ale than a pale.
