Digging through the reserves and had to pop it to see how well it's held up. Nose held up surprisingly well, definitely lost abv as expected but the notes of cinnamon, dark chocolate and other spices held up great. Got lucky with this one for sure.

2017 release, aged 8yr. HUGE chocolate nose, like a hot cocoa! For a 13+% this is a SMOOTH drink. A nice hint of vanilla oak with a grahm cracker backend. The coffee is perfectly just noticeable & takes thenplace of hops to keep the pallate clean. GREAT

Super surprised that this held up. Definitely lighter on the abv side but the Mexican chocolate and cinnamon notes held up. Wow.
