Finally arrived in Wellington, the craft beer mecca in NZ. And Heyday is supposed to be the best. This West Coast Pils was superb.

Pours clear for a wheat beer, hence the Kristall part of the name. Watery (again!) and it’s a wheat beer/ pilsner combo, in which the pilsner has come out on top, with the barest trace of banana on the nose and palate. Not the best brewery collaboration.
