soft watery hazelnut aroma with vague cinnamon and cardamom notes. Flavour is watery biscuit, soft hazelnut; low carbonation and while offering some soft crispness is very flat. This is missing numerous key elements of the beer it pays homage to.

Why would you hold up a name like Duchesse just to mock it? Wine character in the same way a homebrewer can chuck in anything at all and call it balanced. Barely sour, overly bitter, heavily roasted, almost like an infected amber ale. Just awful.
