Tropical fruit leather? Some "traditional" leather and tobacco notes but all manner of fresh tropicalia to boot, and yes, a clean cold pale finish. Both seasonable and not unlike some Highland Park malts, a combination I would not have thought possible.

This is a really bright and zesty vision of NZ hops in a west coast delivery mechanism. Big orange and other citrus with some melon.

Juiciness of the grapes is now very nicely integrated with the heavy tannins. Dry and slightly funky finish.

Quite sour at this point with a lot of familiar Tilquin plums taking over the grapes. Not much funk, sour tilts over into a puckering bitterness on the finish.
