Very Long Trail resinous hoppy nose. Smooth and bitter, sort of a LT Pale version of a hazy NE.
Ed Holden is drinking a Kingfisher Premium Lager by United Breweries at Google Cambridge
Sweet and very unobjectionable, a very malt-forward lager, but still fairly light. Would go well with any food from the subcontinent.
Ed Holden is drinking a Causeway by Castle Island at Google Cambridge
I've been avoiding doubles lately because calories and ABV, but the choices were limited. This is quite nice, lots of bitter citrus, a little resin, not too boozy.
Ed Holden is drinking a Cusqueña Dorada / Golden Lager by Unión de Cervecerías Peruanas Backus y Johnston at Google Cambridge
Very golden lager. Honestly quite good, even sipped from the bottle. And that's saying a lot because bottles are not good drinkware.
Ed Holden is drinking a Saison 666 by Remnant Brewing at Google Cambridge
Nice to see a dark saison. Malty, nutty, slightly funky, with some faint banana. Thanks Ian S.

Not bad! Maybe a little too much of a trailing hop bite for my taste. Certainly juicy and drinkable.

Ed Holden is drinking a Hazy-O! by Dogfish Head Craft Brewery at Google Cambridge
Hazy and juicy, yes, but a real IPA nose and a little resin. I like that it still tastes like a Dogfish Head: this would have tasted recognizably like an IPA in the days before the haze.

I match the can. Weird aftertaste

Spectacular German style pilsner. Smooth, sweet, with noticeable hops. I'd swear it had Nelson if I didn't read the description. Basically as good as a Tree House pilsner.
Ed Holden is drinking a Triple Broccoli Special Reserve by Other Half Brewing Co. at Google Cambridge
Velvety triple. Hard to emphasize how super smooth this is. Faint Smarties candy and hard candy flavors, with a hint of booze on the finish. Dangerous!
Ed Holden is drinking an Atrial Rubicite (Blend 11) by Jester King Brewery at Google Cambridge
A very mild sour from the experts in Austin. Lots of raspberry flavor, mild tartness, a little bitterness.
Ed Holden is drinking a Story Walking by Monkish Brewing Co. at Google Cambridge
Lovely NE IPA from Monkish. Great upfront grassy hops with some lingering resin and pronounced aniseed. The underlying flavor is citrusy, but the anise almost overwhelms it.

Ed Holden is drinking a Matsurika by Japas Cervejaria at Google Cambridge
Nose like a German pilsner, with a flower bouquet. Taste is more resinous than a standard pils, with savory undertones. Unique.
