It’s actually kind of Tyrod’s fault. Not going to complain about a second half soak though.

This was good. Nice thick and chewy, but can’t say I loved the overly white grapey Nelson thing. Still good, but not my fave flavors.

This was almost perfect. One of the best from Troon in a while.

I’ve been patiently waiting for about a decade to drink a top shelf stout in my own hot tub while watching a football game in the cold. That dream came true tonight. And this beer is as good as I’ve ever had. Rich, velvet, chocolate, bourbon. Yes. 4.85.

Earned the Stout Day (2023) badge!

Monkish stouts are the real deal. Almost PR level. Super rich, creamy, thiccck, sweet, candy bar. Loaded with chocolate, vanilla, and some coconut coffee base. This is excellent. Last night swim of the year? I hope not.

Earned the 99 Bottles (Level 72) badge!

Top shelf. Typical PR: thick, pastry, candy bar, rich and deep flavors. Nothing stood out too much - which was good. Super balanced and reasonable and smooth. Last night swim of the year? I think not.

Summer was good, and then it was gone. This was still pretty great for the age.

This was excellent. I mean, it’s a big silly pastry boi, but not too too sweet , great thiccckness, good flavors, melted candy bar goodness. There’s a lot jammed in here, and they all work somehow.

This was good, but not a whole lot more. Barely any chili remaining, very fruity and rich. Lots of chocolate as it warmed. Some raisin and leathery barrel traits.

Over two years old, and honestly, still pretty good. It lost the big time fresh hop bite and some of the distinct pineapple candy thing, but still a delicious, sweet, soft treat. It reminded me of a honey infused hoppy actually. Not deplorable.

This was good, but I can’t say I loved it. I think I like most Troon stouts better. Prominent hot pepper, fairly sweet and roasty. Good, but that’s all. Thanks for this one Drew H.

kindof odd. supposed to be a chili stout but was more like a cherry cordial stout. Thx for sharing Matt A.

This was ok. Good flavors, chocolate fudge, leathery tobacco. But it’s so thick. Like, too thick. I guess I’m just not that into medianoches. Not bad, but not worth it.

Fantastic. One of the better ones. Big hops, bright and thick in a way that stands out. Especially for the abv, elite. Happens also to be the jeopardy episode from 6/30. Weird world. (Robo-Blossom though 👎). Also, a bad vacation or a break from hell???

Amazing. Another PR killer. Slight hazelnut (thank God!), beautiful chocolate and coconut, coffee, thick and creamy, and perfectly rich. Delicious.

This is a beautiful beer. Almost 4.75. Big, hoppy, thick, delicious.

It’s a Troon triple. What else would I expect? Brilliant. Nice thickness, hearty hops, good amount of funk here. Troon in the pool at night is simply top shelf.
