Nice combination of flavors. Starting with a caramel malty sweetness that evolves in to a more bitter hoppy flavor. The malt base stays but the hops take over.

Very deep, dark chocolate and whisky scent. A very mellow flavor. Starting at a sweeter note with mellow whisky. This evolves to a more dark chocolate/ milk chocolate mix. The whisky steals the show in the aftertaste.

Really mellow, both the chocolate and malty flavors from the base beer. The whisky gives a great range of flavors. Slightly peated, licorice, vanilla woody and even a some dark dried fruits. Not that outspoken flavor but well balanced and blended.

Earthy malty chocolate scent. Slightly sweet in the start with a fruity hint of dark red fruit. This evolves to a more roasty bitter coffee taste. Ending in a dryish roasty coffee aftertaste. Could be a bit thicker in the mouthfeel.

Surprisingly light scent. Chocolate and peat. The flavor on the other hand is bold and full. Starting with a sweetish bitter dark chocolate taste. This is then overpowered by the barrel flavors. Loads of peat, iodine and medicinal flavors.

Bitter dark chocolate, dark roasted malts and something spice. Oily thick mouthfeel! Flavors that match the scent. Chocolate, bitter but also some sweetness. There is a nice spice under layer that is omnipresent. Also a fruity hint in the late aftertaste.

Smoke, scorched wood in the nose. The first flavor is quite malty but changes fast to a smokey sour wood taste. The malty base layer shows a bit of sweetness. This all is bound with a drying tannines feeling.
