@ first there's a slight acetic, tangy note, like a Flanders Red or Oud Bruin.There's definitely a sweet cookie dough note that follows, but it's a little jarring between the initial tart note & the retronasal tartness that follows. Weird but compelling.

There's gingerbread, obviously, but also bitter black coffee, licorice, molasses, cinnamon, booze, & whisky notes from the barrel. It sweetens as it warms & a caramel edge comes out, softening the bitterness as well as cooling the booze. Thanks Steven W.!
