Bought this as I don’t get Obsidian variants. Didn’t do research or look as this was bottled in 2022. Store cellared it for me I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️ The peanut butter has dropped almost out-faint, barrel is smoothed as well. Obsidian base is the backbone- nice

The barrel completely takes over the beer- and maybe that’s the point. Bourbon and malt combines to create a sweet/maple syrup like character and flavor.
