Michael Astfalk is drinking a Big Beard Belgian by Moo-Duck Brewery at Farmhouse Abbey Brewing
Good Belgian nose, small white fluffy head dissipates quickly for a 10% ABV belgian. Nice palate with notes of dates and molasses but it is a bit thin. Finish doesn’t linger long, thin and easy drinking. Little booziness. Needs more body.

Great beer, this time served in a pint glass. Still getting all the notes but it does benefit from a tulip glass.

Nice hazy pour that is not over powered by the hop character letting the tropical and citrus notes balance with the smooth malt and lingering finish. Lingering head that for good lacing. Nice and balanced.

Coffe and chocolate pop on the nose as the light brown head of foam dissipates in to oily blackness. It sips heavy and creamy on the palate with more of the vanilla sweet notes shining through with the roasty oak notes hitting before the smooth finish.

Fantastic beer. White & tan head quickly dissipates. Boozy, roasty chocolate nose with a smooth vanilla & bourbon palate. Silky mouthfeel. Clean lingering finish.
