This is a very slickly done taproom in a railway arch. Dry and bitter finish. Very drinkable but lacks character.

Another souvenir from Brussels. The basil aroma is lovely. Plenty of basil flavour with sweet yeast. Fresh and herbal and really well balanced.

Collab with Beak. Lightly fruity with stone fruit and mango. Some citrus zest and an herbal grassy finish.

I find it very hard to say no to a barley wine. The previous TIPA got too sweet towards the finish and this is a good corrective. Dates and raisins with a leathery edge keeping it from sticky sweet. Sophisticated.
Amanda Vinson: Photo of the magnum of Pannepot reserva 2012 in the vintage cellar here that I need to recruit a group of beer mad hardy souls to help drink. I am becoming obsessed.

Anthony L: What's the price? 🫣
Amanda Vinson: Anthony L. That part you probably don't want to know. It's like they don't really want to sell it.
Anthony L: Amanda V. True. I found an amazing looking chilli porter in Craft beer junction fridge yesterday and they decided they did want to sell it to me 🙄
I made David model our £4 pint. Bargain on a Wednesday and an altbier to boot. It is worth coming south of the river. Burnt toast. Bready and earthy with a dry finish. Nice vibe in here.
