Double Dank DIPA by Cloudwater Brew Co.

Sounds weird, I realise, but oh that promising and almost nauseating smell of unwashed feet! Tastes of orange and red grapefruit. Grassy and piney and resinous and bitter towards the finish, bringing the necessary balance. Love it!

Märzen To the Fire by Galway Bay Brewery

Well made Smoked Märzen, yum yum. Aroma of wood fire, bacon and caramel. Just the right smokiness, baked bacon, a distant touch of chourizo. Sweet malt and caramel. Pleasantly light, yet full in taste.

Fruit Force by Brouwerij Twee Vingers

Quite enjoyable NEIPA spreading an aroma of citrus and peach. Tastewise certainly gratifying, showing stonefruit (peach) and citrusy bitterness (grapefruit I’d say) and a moderate hopbitter. Too bad it’s cold and cloudy outside, this NEIPA is a quencher.

Bridging the Gap by Dry & Bitter Brewing Company

Stoutish, chocolaty and roasted malts. At the same time fruity (citrus), biscuity, with a resinous touch and a terrific dry and hoppy bitterness that slowly dissolves, leaving a salty sensation on my tongue. Great BIPA!

Witte Gij 't by KraftBier

Think I prefer a German style weizen over a Belgian style witbier. But Witte Gij ‘t does well as a citrusy, unusually hoppy and herbal quencher, thanks to the herbal bitter finish. Drink really cold to fully enjoy.
