It seems ancho chili + cinnamon + cocoa + vanilla = … coconut? If you look you will find the constituent flavors here (very subtle chili) but overall this feels like all the sweet, smooth, silky goodness of coconut cream (if it was 11.3% ABV).

Definitely toward the American side of pale ales, plenty of hops to find here. Half the brewery (more?) is IPAs, maybe some extra hops fell in? (Menu specifically distinguishes this as a pale ale, not an IPA.)
