Not as good as the usual version in my opinion. The additional barrel strips the body of the beer and removes any lacing and some of the mouthfeel. The barrels are nice, but they don't make up for what they take away. Significantly less maple!!

This has really mellowed our nicely since i last had it. Still has too much booze compared to the 17% OG, however it is doing a fair job of masking it. Decent, but do we really need bw over 20%?
