Lighthouse edition. A very nice well balanced beer slight citrus aroma and a light citrus taste which gives it all the qualities of a decent summers evening beer. If it was on draft it would definitely score higher.

My first beer from the Northern Monk brewery and I must say I really like it. Zesty orange flavours that are not too heavy and provide a pleasant aftertaste. More floral than expected but a lovely chilled IPA.

Richard Marriott is drinking a Hefeweizen Anno 25 / Weissbier by ABK (Aktienbrauerei Kaufbeuren) at RAFA Club
Whilst the lockdown was in place I have missed my local pub/club. ABK was the chosen beer which was rather lite and refreshing with no heavy aftertastes and nicely chilled went down rather well. For a Bavarian beer this is an excellent example.

As far as AFs go this is ok. There is still the expected BrewDog undertones and as a lunch time food accompaniment it’s not bad.

Quick evening half of a well known beer which unfortunately smells and tastes a little flat and not what I expected. I will have to try it again somewhere else to see if it deserves a higher score.
