Christmas gift from my son several years ago. The aging smoothed out any noticeable hops(per the description). The nose has a hint of black licorice, but the taste thankfully does not follow. Roasty taste that doesn’t get to black coffee.Balanced, smooth.

Really clean and refreshing, if not entirely clear. Very to style and very drinkable. Would definitely drink more of these.

From last night. Older than I’d like for something as hoppy as this beer. Incredibly strong aromas in the glass, mostly notes of overripe orange and grapefruit. The taste followed somewhat but was more muted. Not a particularly varied taste profile.
