Paul Crawford is drinking a Chocolate Old Peculier by Theakston at The Guest House
People will love this. It’s an old favourite but with cHoCaLaTe FlAvOuR. In actuality, it’s better than the original because the bar has been set that low. Buy a better beer and improve your testing quality you reprobates.

Tastes like sherry. Genuinely the best beer I’ve ever had from Greene King. Probably because it’s from back when they were actually ok as opposed to the Disgrace They Have Now Become.

A little too much coconut and not enough cinnamon, maybe? Great mouthfeel. Beautifully dark. Nose is a bit off. Initial tin taste but that’s probably just the can. Wish I’d chilled it a bit more.

Not bad. More reminiscent of a cider than a mead but, as it’s my first time trying a kegged version, I have no comparison. Sparkling, medium finish, and a tinge of bitterness. Recommend a cube or two of ice to accompany. Especially in hot weather.
