Doesn't look or taste anything like a ruby mild. It does, however, taste plummy, so I'll give it that. Unfortunate aroma of blue cheese. It's okay, but I'm not in a hurry to have another one.

I've had a number of different apple-flavoured beers in the past, and had concluded they were all shite and that apple and beer should never mix, but this is actually decent. An enjoyable novelty.

Disappointingly average. Much thinner body than expected from a 7% IPA, with little malt character to speak of at all, and one of the hop flavours is far too melony for my liking.
