Fairly complex with really big barrel notes. Definitely gets better as it warms. Very good but not necessarily the nonadjunct barrel-aged profile I’m looking for.
Kirk J. is drinking a Double Barrel Aged Seismic Overlay by Whiskey Hill Brewing at Whiskey Hill Brewing Company - Westmont
Liquid German chocolate cake. All the flavors are there and in perfect balance. Really digging this more than I would have expected.

Kirk J. is drinking a B.A Coalesce Variant by Whiskey Hill Brewing at Whiskey Hill Brewing Company - Westmont
Cinnamon slams you in the face, coconut lingers in the background. Probably prefer the original since coconut is my jam, but no complaints from me here.
Kirk J. is drinking a Session - When It Rains by Standard Meadery
I’m not sure what’s going on with these sessions lately, but the last couple have been full of disgusting floaties. The taste is still good, but visually this beer is super unappealing.
Amazing how basic regular Seismic Overlay is. The barrel(s) just take this to another level.
