Pretty bland stuff overall, trying to approximate a macro, I guess...

Impressive hibiscus infused saison, floral with mild farmhouse and fruit flavor with a bone dry finish

Purchased at Johnny's OffLicense Campo de' Fiori

Hordeum by Surfing IPA

Steven is drinking a Surfing IPA by Hordeum at Porto Antico

Not that bad for a rice based IPA, but nothing much beyond the bitterness and light body.

Birrificio Sabino by Nettuno

Steven is drinking a Nettuno by Birrificio Sabino at Porto Antico

A different take on the session IPAs I'm used to, more emphasis on malt and pine , with a big bitter finish.

Stigbergets Bryggeri by West Coast IPA

Steven is drinking a West Coast IPA by Stigbergets Bryggeri at Scurreria Beer and Bagel

Big citrus and passion fruit flavor up front, on a smooth and silky body braced with juicy hop structure. An impressive IPA.

Birra Elvo by Schwarz

Steven is drinking a Schwarz by Birra Elvo at Scurreria Beer and Bagel

A nice smoked lager with a light sweetness on the body and with the ample smoke providing a nice complement on the finish.

Marble Beers by Pint

Steven is drinking a Pint by Marble Beers at Scurreria Beer and Bagel

A decent golden ale, light with some depth of flavor, very soft mouthfeel, but somewhat one dimensional.

Brauerei Hellmuth by Eierberg Urstoff

Steven is drinking an Eierberg Urstoff by Brauerei Hellmuth at Scurreria Beer and Bagel

Another solid lager on tap at Scurreria, fresh roasted malt flavors lift this one up. Loving the curation of quality lager here.

BrewDog by Cocoa Psycho

Steven is drinking a Cocoa Psycho by BrewDog at BrewDog Firenze

Might be the first Brewdog beer I've actually enjoyed , but for a flagship RIS I can't help thinking... is this all there is?

BrewDog by Punk IPA

Steven is drinking a Punk IPA by BrewDog at BrewDog Firenze

Man I keep giving this a second chance but still a bland version of the style, hardly punk, should be renamed REO Speedwagon IPA.

Amager Bryghus by SigteBroad

Steven is drinking a SigteBroad by Amager Bryghus at BrewDog Firenze

Having a beer while waiting for the train to Genoa, a nice collaboration with Trillium that has some slight saison character

Birrificio Del Ducato by Verdi Imperial Stout

Steven is drinking a Verdi Imperial Stout by Birrificio Del Ducato at Fermento Food & Beer

Spicy, rich, boozy with a strong chili pepper finish. A fine finish to an impressive rustic Italian dinner.

Birrificio San Giovanni by IPA A Modo Mio

Steven is drinking an IPA A Modo Mio by Birrificio San Giovanni at Fermento Food & Beer

Nice rich and rustic IPA, kinda English but much better than most English examples , lots of hop juice and velvety malts.

Birrificio Del Ducato by Viaemilia

Steven is drinking a Viaemilia by Birrificio Del Ducato at Fermento Food & Beer

A solid pils, lacking a little in depth , but some nice roasted malts on a clean base with a crisp finish.

Birrificio Sabino by Accia

Steven is drinking an Accia by Birrificio Sabino at Johnny's OffLicense Campo de' Fiori

The murkiest DIPA I've ever had, but muddy brown appearance doesn't come across in the flavor, which is a boozy and hoppy IPA not too malty

Purchased at Johnny's OffLicense Campo de' Fiori
