Nose: dark caramel, butterscotch, cola. Palette, surprisingly bitter, burnt sugar, lots of butterscotch, caramel, molasses, coffee-ish notes, salty finish. Easy to drink. Light bodied for a stout. Rather bitter for my tastes and expectation of a stout.

Butterscotch and salt in the nose get followed by an intense salty savoury flavour when taking the first sips. The aftertaste has bitter coffee notes. It is thinner, and saltier than expected but has some buttery feel when kept in the mouth. Quite unique.
