Starts off super light but the flavor builds. Becomes rich after the swallow , and leaves wood behind in the aftertaste. A lot going on but it all works. Would make this a regular rotation beer if it was available on the east coast.

I'm a sucker for barrel aged stouts. This one is good but not upper echelon. Not super heavy and easier to drink than they usually are. It's smooth, tasty, and tastes barrel aged but it doesn't have the thump. Wonder if they do an imperial version.
