The Top 10 Craft Breweries With the Most Beers Added to Untappd in 2022
Some of these breweries might not surprise you, some you may have never heard of. Regardless, what unites all these breweries is that they made a gobsmacking amount of beer in 2022.
10. Orchestrated Minds Brewing 🇺🇸 186
Kicking off our list, Orchestrated Minds Brewing is a nano brewery located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Perhaps proving that just because you're small doesn't mean you can't kick out an insane amount of beers, Orchestrated Minds managed to craft 186 different "larger than life imperial stouts, New England IPAs, and sours of all sorts," according to their Untappd description, which also says, "We are driven to be better today than yesterday!" With such a high number of creative beers coming out of these tiny confines, we'd have to agree that Orchestrated Minds is striving for the best every day.

9. Humble Sea Brewing Company 🇺🇸 187
Started as just a tiny operation in Santa Cruz, CA, by three friends, Frank Scott Krueger, Taylor West, and Nick Pavlina, Humble Sea Brewing Co. has expanded in the last couple years to three locations. Known for pumping out fantastic versions of "Foggy" IPAs (hazy IPAs renamed for the infamous fog that often envelopes the Bay Area), lagers, and crazy concoctions like a triple IPA smoothie beer or quad IPA that's been dry hopped seven times, Humble Sea truly crushes it. What's so amazing is that this brewery continues to innovate, often using the latest hop products and hottest hops, iterating with new variations weekly. How Humble Sea continues to come up with ingenious new beers is beyond us. Basically, if you see a new can release coming down the line (which is about three to four weekly), snap these up as fast as you can. The brewery often sells out that very weekend. These beers are here today gone tomorrow…kind of like an ebbing and flowing tide. So for us, it's no surprise to see this hella-beach-style brewery with laid-back vibes putting the pedal to the metal on its beer creation.

8. Burial Beer Co. 🇺🇸 195
The brewery known for the longest beer names around can now also add some of the most beers made in one year to its ever-growing list of accolades. With close to 200 hundred beers made in 2022, Burial Beer slips into eighth place on the list. Beyond that, Burial is certainly one of the best breweries in the entire state of North Carolina, expanding from its two locations in Asheville to an outpost in Raleigh and a taproom in Charlotte.

7. Three Notch'd Brewing 🇺🇸 204
Named after the colonial-era Three Notch'd Road that ran through Central Virginia, Three Notch'd Brewing notched an incredible 204 beers into its Untappd portfolio in 2022. The award-winning brewery has locations all across Virginia and can now add the seventh most beers made in a year on Untappd to its ever-expanding accolades.

6. TailGate Brewery 🇺🇸 205
Founded as just a 3-bbl brewery in 2014, TailGate Brewery has since grown to an 8-bbl pilot system, 15-bbl brewhouse, and 50-bbl production system churning out 205 beers in 2022. Known for brewing very experimental beers, TailGate Brewery prides itself on the wide variety they create every year, whether that's a clean lager or a smoothie sour.

5. Imprint Beer Co. 🇺🇸 206
Launched in 2018 with the goal to brew unique and creative craft beers, Imprint Beer Co. put out 206 beers in 2022. Everything from indulgent pastry stouts to what they call "mind-melting" fruit sours and hazy IPAs.

4. Mirror Twin Brewing 🇺🇸 215
Here's the cool thing about Mirror Twin: Visit their brewery in Lexington, KY, and you're essentially treated to two drinking holes in one. With two locations side by side in separate buildings, you venture over to the traditional taproom for a casual beer-focused hangout or saunter next door to a cocktail lounge for more of a swanky spirit-focused experience. Of course, from our perspective we're just focused on the beer, which Mirror Twin made a lot of this year (215 to be exact). And even on the beer side you'll find this "twinning" phenomenon with varieties ranging from the tried-and-true styles to the wildly experimental.

3. Odell Brewing Co. 🇺🇸 224
The iconic Fort Collins-based brewery slides into the number three spot on this list with 224 beers brewed in 2022. Perhaps the oldest brewery on this list, Odell was started in 1989 by Doug Odell, his wife Wynne, and his sister Corkie. Over three decades later the brewery is still making waves…and a lot of beer. And while it's stalwarts like 90 Schilling and Myrcenary Double IPA that keep Odell on the map, this year you'll also find some innovative ones crushing the ratings.

2. Other Half Brewing Co. 🇺🇸 281
Here's a fun fact for you: Our friend and BeerAdvocate Co-Founder Todd Alström tweeted in December 2019 that Other Half added more new beers to BeerAdvocate than any other breweries that year, with over 300 listings. And that was just new beers! All told, in 2019 Other Half had 572 beers on BeerAdvocate. Welp, not much has changed, we guess! Surprise, surprise. Tree House has just absolutely crushed all of our top-ranked lists this year, picking up the honors in the top spot on "The Top 10 Craft Breweries With the Most 5-Star Check-Ins of 2022" and landing in sixth with King Julius on "The Top 10 Craft Beers With the Most 5-Star Check-Ins of 2022."
