Yum. Still smooth and decently carbonated. Notes of wood, chocolate, roasted coffee and cream. Balanced and easy, with only very light whiskey bite but enough for warmth. Damn fine.

Aged nicely. Lots of barrel - I’d imagine it’s mellowed quite well over time. Semi-sweet bourbon, smooth, slight smoky body. Last of my ‘17 JMU vs. NDSU trades, which makes me a little sad. Thanks again, Mandi!

Catch up - smoky, yet creamy aftertaste and slight whiskey and rum tones throughout with a solid vanilla aroma that hits as you inhale prior to each sip. But aged well and definitely earned the years. Also paired well with pork chops.
