DIPLodocus

A Double India Pale Lager. Brewed in collaboration with Lester Dunn, one of Wellington's most experienced brewers, this beer features a heavy dose of citrus-y US and NZ hops, and an utterly ridiculous quantity of citrus zest. DIPLodocus pours a clear gold colour with a substantial white head. The nose is a riot of citrus coming from Centennial, Sorachi Ace and Motueka hops, alongside grapefruit, lemon and orange zest. Sweetness from massive amounts of pilsner malt runs right through the palate, but is firmly balanced by the big bitterness you'd expect of an IPL. DIPLodocus is a gentle giant: very approachable flavour and aroma, and drinks more like a 6% beer than a 10% one. Show Less
