True Terra

DIPA brewed with Maris Otter, Pilsner, malted white wheat, and oats, hopped in the whirlpool with Citra, Mosaic, and a new favorite experimental hop of ours: HBC 586. We really wanted to let 586 shine in this beer, so we just added enough Citra and Mosaic to create a juicy landscape for HBC 586 to do its work. We're getting loads of interesting notes from it: dark fruits and red berries as well as deep orange flavors. We're tasting mid-summer cookout fruit salad, powdered raspberry jelly donuts, and those delicious orange crème ice cream rolls from Friendly's everyone seemed to have at birthday parties in the 90s.
