Bottled 02/16/2016. Still coming through with hefty oaky wine-like characteristics. Malty fruit notes. It all marries together for a pretty well integrated malty experience. Holding up well at 7+ years.

Not a lot of funk, but it's there. Earthy. There is a little bitterness or harshness to it that drags it down. Does taste like what I'd expect an actual old ale would.

From 2016 - this aged beautifully. The syrupy Carmel of the old ale shines through and the Brett is almost gone, supplying just a kiss of tartness to make a whole bottle enjoyable. Better cold than warm. Sad I only had one.
