This is fantastic! Pleasantly surprised. Thought it might be too old by now, but it has held up very well. A “pastry stout” from when that wasn’t yet a thing. Loads of vanilla! A bit of roastiness in the finish. Still need to empty my cellar some more.

One a day historical check in, drank Xmas day 2010. Sweet soothing aromas of coffee cake, caramel, chocolate ice cream and molasses. Heavy flavours of burnt caramel, chocolate and vanilla. Has a slight bitter edge. Malty, bitter-sweet finish.
