Coat of Arms

Coat of Arms pours a brilliant, ruby-red hue into a glass, reminiscent of a precious gemstone gleaming in the light. A crown of creamy, off-white foams adorns the top of this regal beer and persists almost indefinitely, leaving behind a beautiful lacing of foam in the glass with each frothy swig.

On the palate, Coat of Arms is a light-medium bodied, malt-forward beer with a toasty/nutty/ toffee grain character that is balanced by low-moderate hop bitterness and a high level of effervescence that cuts through the rich, malty flavors leaving a crisp, dry, and refreshing finish.

For comparison, you can think of this sessionable lager as having a slightly richer malt profile than a Märzen, a lower alcohol content and lighter body than a Bock, and a cleaner yeast character and crispier finish than an Irish Red.

We get notes of toasty grains, nutty toffee, freshly baked biscuits smothered in fig jam, caramelized sugar, melanoidin richness, floral/ spicy noble hops, and Franconian biergarten. Show Less
