🇪🇪 Strong nose… sweetness, dark fruits… dessert wine. The flavor is not as well preserved… or maybe it is… alcoholic, dark fruity, raisins, prunes… darkness. Strong. A bit harsh. A tiny note of metal. BB 13/04/18.

This barley wine has aged brilliantly! Aroma full of earthy maltiness and sun-dried mud. Taste is deep & complex with many earthy layers followed by a sweet splash of brown sugar and dry wood, ending with burning alcohol. Superb. 44/50
