TROPHY: Best IPA (Australian International Beer Awards 2017)
Brewer Alana was bringing her homebrew kit into the brewery so often that we had to stump up and buy her a Braumeister. Riffing on a favourite home recipe,
she came up with varying levels of blood orange IPAs.
Starting with A LOT, she ramped it up to EVEN MORE, then dialed it back to JUST RIGHT. She handed us the recipe and left for a month of "research" in Europe. We called in some favours and accumulated enough Citra and Mosaic
to dry hop this beast. We think the result is a bad motherf***er of a beer. Open it up.
MALTS: Vienna, Redback, American Ale, Maris Otter,
Pale Crystal, Shepherd's Delight.
HOPS: Lots and lots of Citra and
Mosaic. So much that we ran out and had to
borrow some from Two Birds.
OTHER: Fresh blood orange juice. Show Less
