Puncheon Project: Blend 1

The first of many mixed culture beers that Pete and Papa have been crafting in the deepest depths of the Rave Cave™️. The base is a wheat beer that has been barrel fermented with a mixed-culture of yeast and bacteria, and then keg conditioned for over 6 months after complete. It starts with a light funk and a mild oaky character on the nose, which leads into a bouquet of fresh cut watermelon, orange blossoms and ripe nectarines with this sour beer. The light-bodied palate is like biting into a kumquat with citrus like bitterness balanced by bright, tart acidity. Stay tuned for more bb! Draft only. Show Less
