Opaque with a vibrant rust color. Definitely a European vibe here. Vaguely German or Belgian with a big, malty body and earthy, damp, stone cellar hops. Caramel is the strongest flavor, maybe a hint of dried fruit and then more earthiness. Almost syrupy.
