Old Man Bitter

We very seldom dabble in traditional British beer, but we ended up acquiring some awesome Chevallier Malts (a British Heirloom Pale Ale malt, most of which is for our 510 Malt Liquor), an interesting and obscure British hop (Bramling Cross), and a real British yeast strain. Given all that, Brewmaster John Gillooly had to make this beer. The result is a low-gravity drinker that features a complex interplay of aromatics - notable ester profile from the yeast, light toast from the malt and an almost currant-like effect from the hops.
