Quite the boozy oak bomb on the nose (which is shocking for the lower ABV), with tiny notes of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate equally behind it. Wet, bitter oak is tasted up front, with dark roast coffee behind it. Missing the sweetness from the vanilla.

This is probably six years old. It doesn't quite have the abv to age. But it's not like DH was encouraging me to age an adjunct single stout. I just forgot about it. Vanilla still comes through nicely.
