Right out the gate, oaky bourbon on the nose with floral notes as well. Good acidity and tartness with white wine, oak and nice floral sweetness on the tongue.

Never had a Persimmon nor Madeira wine so this is foreign to me. Have had a few wild ales & can say this was an interestingly good one. A warming quality which is stunning @5%, slightly undercarbed, nice strong barrel adds spice, sweet yet also tart 🤤
