Nose and forenote of malty chocolate with a finish that has a perfect companion with the Tasmanian pepperberry cheese served on the platter. It was further complimented by staff they knew enough to offer a glass that was not cold. Very impressive.

Milk chocolate and malt on the nose with rum soaked raisins throughout the palate. Very enjoyable. As with the red ale it is a good deal too cold initially but the flavours open up gradually.
