Beri starts by brewing a strong wheat beer with old hops. Following the main fermentation of 3 months, it is then transferred, to lay on 'Bedel' champagne barrels to continue a gentle fermentation process on red fruits for almost 3 years. A number of 60-year-old bottles of Gueuze Goossens (a production that is not longer existing today) are added to entail a light, mixed fermentation. After 3 years, all barrels are tasted and only the top barrels of 100% barrel aged are refilled, pure, without the addition of sweeteners or young fruit, and refermented in a bottle with champagne yeast.

Taste: Refreshing and slightly tart, with subtle notes of wood and light vanilla. Dry with a deep red fruit flavor. Show Less
